Shadows of Valor

This book is amazing, but I'm a little biased seeing Elsie Parks is my good friend and neighbor. Shadows of Valor is about a medieval time period. The protagonist, a girl named Elsbeth, lives with her cousin's family due to an accident. She experiences really neat things.
SOV is a romance book, which I don't usually read, but it had enough fighting and such to keep me entertained. I just barely scratched the surface of the story because there are so many plot twists and such that I don't want to give away. I loved it!
Elsie, you are an amazing writer. I hope to be as good as you someday :)
